Statement
I had some difficulties in accepting the overuse of paint on the canvas. The traditional thin expressions and lines, and gradation are what I find beautiful. In these classic techniques, I believe there is a lot to learn about Japanese art. Though, there's still much to learn, I use the classical technique "Katabokashi" to create my works. There are many challenges, such as the painting becoming superficial when using thin expressions and lines, but I try to create a prfound world by using these thin expressions.
