Information about the products
Prices of Goods and other charges on this website are current at the time
of display. These prices are subject to variation at any time without notice.
Unless otherwise stated, all prices are in US dollars, but do not include
any delivery, insurance and other taxes, levies and charges.
Placing an order
You may place an order using the online ordering system on this website.
The placing of an order does not constitute acceptance by Artland Japan
to supply the goods. No obligation to sell or supply the goods will arise
until Artland Japan has provided you with a written confirmation of your
order by e-mail. Artland Japan will forward you an electronic reciept via
e-mail, which will breakdown all charges and give you the total amount
of your bill. If you do not receive verification, it may be your order
was either not processed or that you are unable to recieve e-mails from
Artland Japan (an occasional issue). Please let Artland Japan know if this
is the case so Artland Japan can send via alternative e-mail accounts.
Payment
You must pay the stated price of the goods together with any freight, insurance,
taxes, duties or handling charges associated with any order. Payment will
be considered received once the amount paid by you is received by Artland Japan in immediately available funds. Until payment is received, Artland Japan reserve the right to cancel any order or delivery. Purchase may be paid
for by credit card (Visa, Master, American Express) or PayPal. Orders will
not be dispatched until payment in full has been received. Payment of any
order not accepted by Artland Japan will be refunded in full.
Delivery
Artland Japan will only deliver the goods to a delivery address in an area to which Artland Japan provide delivery service. Artland Japan will advise you if the delivery address nominated by you ceases to be
in an area where Artland Japan deliver goods. It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address
at the time of placing your order.
Any dates specified for the delivery of the goods are estimated dates only and Artland Japan shall not be liable for any damage or loss that you may suffer as a result of a delivery being delayed beyond such dates for any reason.
Anyone at the delivery address who receives the goods shall be presumed
by Artland Japan to be authorised to receive the goods.
Acceptance/Returns
Goods delivered shall be deemed to have been accpeted 5 days from the data
of delivery.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase,
you are required to inform Artland Japan, via E-mail (info@artland-japan.com), within 5 days from the date of delivery.
You may return the good within 10 days of receipt of the goods to recieve
a replacement artwork or full refund for the purchase price of the goods.
Return procedure
You must inform Artland Japan within 5 days from the delivery, via e-mail (info@artland-japan.com), prior to shipping a return in order to receive proper instructions and authorization. To exchange goods or to receive a full refund of the price of the goods, you need to complete a Return Form (which we will send you) and return the goods in original condition with all accessories and proof of purchase. The customer must pay return shipping charges unless it was Artland Japan's shipping error, or damaged while delivered.
If the ordered goods was damaged while delivered, insurance investigations
will be conducted by the local post office. Investigations could take as
long as 2 months.
* Please understand that art works are very delicate and that investigations
are required for the insurance covering all risks on delivery.
If damages were observed to have occurred during the delivery, a full price
refund will be made, but if the damage occurred after the acceptance of
the goods, according to the investigation, return of the goods will not
be acceptable.
Goods returned damaged
Art products are very delicate, meaning you need to take extreme measures
to ensure the goods are returned undamaged. If Artland Japan receives damaged goods as a return and Artland Japan is unable to re-enter the goods into its inventory, then Artland Japan can offer the option of the following remedies:
1. Artland Japan can return the goods to you at no further charge.
2. Artland Japan can refund you 50% of the purchase price of the goods.
Limit of liability
Except as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions, you agree that
Artland Japan will not be liable to you or any other person for any damage of any kind, character, including without limitation any compensatory, incidental, direct, indirect, special, punitive, or consequential damages, loss of use, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss or damage of property, damages for product liability, claims of third parties, personal injury, negligence or other losses of any kind or character, even if Artland Japan has been advised of the possibility of such damages, resulting from the
use of information from this website or the acquisition of goods through
this website.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Artland Japan, its directors, officers, employees or agents harmless from any claim
made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of this website,
the violation of these Terms and Conditions by you, or the infringement
by you of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.
General
We may change the Terms and Conditions from time to time, and we will post
the amended terms on the Artland Japan website. All amended terms will
take effect immediately for new users, and 30 days after they are posted
for existing users.
